Surf Life Saving SA


Founded in 1952, Surf Life Saving SA is the State’s peak aquatic safety an rescue authority and is one of the largest volunteer based organisations in Australia.

Surf Life Saving SA provide volunteer beach patrols in 20 Clubs across the State and compliment that service with a State Emergency Rescue crew comprised of Jet Skis, Jet Boats and the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter Service.

As a Registered Training Organisation (RTO), Surf Life Saving SA provide accredited first aid and CPR training, pool Inspections and aquatic education to schools, work places and community groups.
