Mid-Coast Community Challenge

LWC2018 is proud to sponsor the Mid-Coast Community Challenge through our “Ride the Wave” program.

Saturday 20 January, Moana

The iconic South Australian Mid Coast is known for its waves and aquatic reserves but on the 20th January 2018, there is the MID COAST COMMUNITY CHALLENGE. Over 200 people aged from 9 years will come together at Moana to compete, with the day culminating in the premier Challenge for Open Men and Open Women Surf Life Saving Ocean events. Everyone competes on the challenging “M” shaped course.

Events will encompass the ages of 9 years to Masters with cash prizes for the place getters. A full day of fierce competition of all levels. The introduction of the Mid Coast Community Challenge will see a Youth Club team swim and an open water 1k swim for all members of the community.

The Mid Coast Surf Life Saving Clubs is made up of the following Clubs:

Aldinga SLSC, Christies Beach SLSC, Moana SLSC, Port Noarlunga SLSC and South Port SLSC.  The aim of this Group is to work together to implement the best possible outcomes for the local community and visitors of our beautiful mid coast beaches.
