The SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre is located in Marion, a suburb in the City of Marion council in Adelaide around 10 km south-west of the CBD. Founded as a  rural village in 1838 on the banks of the Sturt River, Marion was found to have rich soil and the population expanded rapidly.

SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre is a new, state of the art aquatic and recreation facility located in the City of Marion, South Australia. The Centre is a premier facility, designed to bring elite aquatic sport back to the state of SA and is available for the community to access.

The pool has been built to FINA standards and is eligible to host national and international swimming events (including Olympic trials). The SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre can cater for 4,500 spectators, and includes five pools to cater for all, including the elite to recreational swimmer, children, and people with disabilities. It includes a health club, crèche, function rooms, retail and catering outlets.

Located only 12km frog;e;emgm the heart of Adelaide City, Glenelg is a charming
seaside suburb with sandy white shores, bustling shops and restaurants and
attractions for all ages. Glenelg is the site of South Australia’s original mainland settlement in 1836.

The marina is also the departure point for the dolphin sailing tours which circuit Holdfast Bay several times a day. Spot bottle nosed and common dolphins on a daytime or twilight cruise or join a tour which lets you swim with them. Glenelg is a hub for lots of other ocean adventures. Learn to surf, go snorkelling or scuba dive the various reefs and drop-offs.
